What the software licence covers

Fred’s $99 licence covers the harness on your computer: the dashboard, 18 configured specialist agents, workflows, tools, permission controls, memory, the Android app, and the owner’s guide.

The model access you bring

Connect your own supported provider account or API key. That provider supplies the intelligence and bills you separately for model access and usage under its terms. You can also configure a local model through Ollama on hardware you provide.

How the parts work together

You give Fred a task. The harness supplies context, routes work to the appropriate agents, and manages tools and permissions. Your configured model handles the reasoning. The dashboard lets you see activity and tracked model usage.

Your existing AI services

Your provider accounts and any other AI services you use have their own terms, billing, and access methods. Choose supported access for the models you want to use through Fred, and budget for those ongoing costs alongside the software licence.

Where the work lives

Fred’s tools and memory run on your own computer. Requests to cloud models travel to your chosen provider using your own access. The Android app connects back to your Fred machine over an encrypted tunnel.
